Photography has been woven into the fabric of my life since childhood, growing up in the rhythm and energy of my family's camera and film-processing business in El Paso, Texas. What began as curiosity behind the counter and in the darkroom soon grew into a lifelong calling — one that has kept me rooted in this community for over four decades.
For me, creating a portrait is never simply about taking a photograph. It is an act of reverence — an opportunity to pause long enough to reveal something deeper. A thoughtful portrait offers a quiet glimpse into a person's spirit, allowing light, expression, and moment to come together in a way that honors the soul behind the face.
That same philosophy guides my work in architectural photography. Just as a portrait reveals the essence of a person, a well-crafted architectural image reveals the character of a space. Light, perspective, and composition work together to express the architect's vision and the life that unfolds within those walls.
My work lives at the intersection of these two worlds — people and place. Through boutique, personalized portraiture and carefully composed architectural imagery, I strive to create photographs that feel both intentional and timeless. This same devotion to craft extends to my work as the founder of MLS Camera Guy, El Paso's premier real estate photography experience, where every property is treated with the same care and attention as a fine art commission.
After decades behind the camera, I remain deeply honored by the trust people place in me — whether they invite me to reveal their likeness or interpret the spaces they have created. My goal is always the same: to produce photographs that hold meaning today and endure as visual heirlooms for generations to come.
When I am not taking, I am giving.
